Moms Do You Twitter?
Do you see these buttons everywhere? Wonder what they mean? Do you wonder what all the fuss is about? I started using Twitter for business but I have actually come to enjoy Twitter as a Mom as well.
Here is what I mean. As I sit in the car waiting for my kids (you have noticed I do this a lot) I get on my iPhone and click on my twitter icon and I have just opened a world!
Top Five Favorite Things to Do With Twitter as a Mom
- Breaking News-I love knowing I can be up to the minute with the news while not having to have all the drama of the network t.v.
- Friends- It is fun to only say what you need to in 140 characters. The wait in the car usually gives me enough time.
- Motivations-there are a lot of great motivational sayings on twitter and a good one goes along way.
- Coupons- Yes, there are coupons and deals to find.
- Search- Search whatever your plans are-vacation, new town to live in-see what is being said.
A few suggestions;
- don’t get caught up in numbers (of friends)
- use it your way, we’re all different
- make use of the search tool
- see what is in the hot topics just to be “in the know” (makes me feel younger)
- One last thing, try it! It is FREE and easy.
