Orggit For Life’s Important Information

Orggit Or Not?

This is the question that still enters my mind as I look through my Orggit account.

Orggit is wonderfully set up, easily maintained and can be used anywhere you go. So what is my hold up??? I want to know (no I NEED to know) that I am safe. If I give my passwords, bank accounts and vital information to the Internet what is going to happen to this information?! Am I safe, are my passwords still only known to me? Will I get my identity stolen? I need to know these answers so I asked. Here are the answers I received.

You’re “How Safe is It?!” question is one we get all the time.  I completely understand your reservations in that area.  Here’s what I can tell you:

We use the same security as our parent company, Morgan Street Document Systems. Morgan Street was founded in 2005 to digitize the information and assets of High Net Worth Individuals.  We have everyone from prominent investors to former presidential cabinet members to congressmen on our system.

We use AES 256 bit encryption, which is currently the strongest available,  to encrypt all passwords, account numbers, user names, card images and security questions at rest.  This is the same security the NSA approved for top secret information.

Your data is stored in Amazon’s secure data centers.  Your data is backed up on multiple services each day, and the data centers are highly secure physical locations.

So, with this safety in mind I checked out Orggit.

orggitThis is a highly organized life organizer!

Organize your Wallet is essentially your financial information at your fingertips.

Orggit tracks and organizes the numerous credit, identification, and membership cards that you’ve accumulated in your wallet, purse, briefcase, and desk drawers.

Select the table view from the menu on the left to view your cards as a list of items. Select the card view if you prefer to view your cards as a collection of icons.

Use the other menu options at left, such as Driver’s License, Identification, & Health Insurance, to filter your view so that you see only cards of that type.

To help you get started, we’ve added some sample cards for you. Click “Edit” on a card to customize it to reflect one of your existing cards. After you’ve made changes, the card image will change color to show that it is no longer a sample card. Or simply click Add Item to create a new card.

Each card type collects information specifically for that category of card. You can also upload a scanned image or photograph of the front and back of the card. In addition to the items in your wallet or purse, be sure to include items that you carry with you only occasionally – like your passport, travel cards, and membership/rewards cards.

Keeping your health organized is a must and I personally believe it should be kept in several places and in several ways. What if the Internet was not assessable? I store my family’s information on products from Jakoter but believe having a safe place for all your health information on the Internet is a wise choice. Orggit has set up the health section in easy tabs.

orggit1Orggit has also made an easy to use place for accounts and codes. If you happen to be traveling and need this information you can retrieve it.

My Final Thoughts

I have kept my health organized with Jakoter. I have kept passwords in a notebook and we started a FranklinCovey program called Confidant that keeps all your important information on your computer (not the internet). Do I feel I need Orggit? Do I feel safe enough to Orgitt? I feel safe enough to say…. check it out it looks like a great product with great possibilities and let me know if you Orggit.

Thanks for the review! We at Orggit really appreciate it. Any reader questions are most welcome and we will be happy to answer them.

What a great perspective from someone who already sees the value of life organization. Confidant is a great product, but keeping your information on a hard drive can be dicey. More and more burglers go straight for your hard drive because of the valuable information stored there. Additionally, our iPhone app and accessibility can make that information available anywhere, anytime!

Feel free to check out another Mom-blogger and see what she thought of Orggit here:

Thank you, again, for the helpful review! We can definitely use your thoughts to continue to improve Orggit.
