Wow! I cannot believe it has been soooo long since I have blogged! I love to blog and communicate with other Moms all the ways that technology can make our lives a little easier. But, truth be told some times all the technology in the world cannot compete with plain, down home, loving Momhood! As much as I love technology and gadgets I love being a Mom!
I have not blogged because we moved and this was quite monstrous. Our family left family, friends, the best school and so on and on. We needed to do this and in the long run this will be one of our greatest adventures. But to make this feel good I needed to be “all in”.
Being “all in” can take its toll. By the time the boys went to school I actually did not cry, I felt that ahhhh moment. I think we took too much for granted. Moving is hard, moving is a big deal and moving is an adventure, which needs to have pause, perks and help. We did get a lot of help moving and if we could not lean on some of our friends and family this move would have been almost impossible. By the way we are just renting, as our house has not sold. So, this means, we have to move again!
I want to share with you one thing that we did with our move that made things much easier.
We used PODS. We only needed some of our belongings and with using a POD we could pack as we needed. Then when we were ready PODS picked up our POD and then delivered it to us when the time was right. Again great since the move too address was changed in mid process, but this was no problem for PODS. They were quite delightful.
I think we are settling in. Things are becoming a little bit more routine. With that thought I hope to post again…soon! : )
