Is there really a newer version? I don’t know but what I read was that there will be a camera in the back and in the front so that you can video chat. Now, I think that is worth waiting for. But here is what I learned from my iPhone do not wait on the case. I did not purchase a case for my iPhone because I loved the feel of the phone without the case. Well, now I feel it may be wearing. I am hoping it is my imagination but it seems well worth the price to grab a case just in case. : )
