I have to tell you, I LOVE my Ford Edge with Sync! I was in the audience wihen Allan Mulally was speaking and it was pretty exciting to hear about all of the technology and safety features they are planning on for 2011 and beyond.

I bought my new Edge just 10 days prior to going to CES and it is so useful. Although I still get irratated in stop-n-go California traffic, it's not nearly as bad as it used to be. Now I can check traffic, weather, call someone via the car speakerphone (goodbye Bluetooth headset!), or listen to some great tunes via SIRIUS radio (free subscription for 6 mos.).

I bought a 2009 car but the features for 2011 are even better, as you stated. Microsoft makes the Sync and they make other computer systems for KIA and a few others. If nothing else, it's worth going to a dealership to test drive it for yourself.
