Organize Your Family and Help Haiti
When twitter moms asked their readers to help families get organized and raise $10,000 for Haiti I was intrigued. Simplify life with technology and do good at the same time! This sounded almost too good to be true. So, I asked some questions….
Casablast Answers
Thanks for your inquiry this morning regarding Casablast. I will answer the questions that you asked this morning and feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or comments.
1) Is it a free account?
The account is completely free. We do not ask for a credit card or anything. There are no subscription or paid for services lurking under the covers.
2) How long are they free?
The accounts that we acquire through TwitterMom and your blogs will be free forever. This is not a free trial period. These are free accounts for the initial 10,000 users. We have waived that 10,000 account restriction for the TwitterMom marketing program. So as many as we can get will be free.
3) Are there any hidden charges?
Nope, there are none. We do not ask for a credit card and when you register (which i hope you will do right away) you will see there are no optional features of any kind. We want subscribers to register and use the service and give us feedback so we can continue to improve it.

Here you create all your family members. I have been so used to using a certain color for each of my boys it seemed so easy simple. Me, I am purple!
As long as you are texting already, this is great. Send a text to all at one time.

So now that I am signed up and see there are no hidden fees I feel good in saying this is worth taking a look at. I have not gotten into using CasaBlast as a routine yet. It may take a while to get into the habit of using a new (or should I say an actual) system. So far, I like what I see. Technology simplifying life and organizing my family while helping Haiti. Thanks CasaBlast!

I too checked out CasaBlast.com after being alerted about it from Twittermoms.com. Although my kids are too young to text to, I found that you can add a group of friends and blast everyone at once with a text. Very easy.
Nice coverage of CasaBlast, Laura.
